Crescent Point Energy Spreads Smiles To Schools For The Southwest Facility Foundation
May 1, 2024
SWIFT CURRENT - Crescent Point Energy delivered a sweet surprise for students in the Southwest school divisions this Monday. They kicked off the Tim Hortons Smile Cookie campaign to support the Southwest Facility Foundation. The kids and staff were all smiles and delighted to get their surprise cookie at school.
Crescent Point purchased 3,333 smile cookies and a team of Crescent Point employees decorated, packed, and delivered cookies to all elementary and middle years students, teachers, and staff in Frontier, Eastend, Shaunavon, Gull Lake, Wymark, Tompkins, Cabri, Hazlet, Success, O.M. Irwin, All Saints, Ecole Centennial, Central, Maverick and Fairview.
“We hope that this not only brightened their day but also helped raise awareness and money for the Southwest Facility Foundation, a group dedicated to building a new aquatic center and field house in Southwest Saskatchewan that will benefit all ages and the entire Southwest for many years to come. With 100% of the proceeds from Smile Cookie going to the Foundation, CPG is proud to partner with Tim Hortons and hopes this will generate awareness and excitement about the facility and create some smiles along the way.”
- Dallas Mohagen, Team Lead at Crescent Point Energy and Southwest Facility Foundation Board Member, who coordinated and executed this crazy cookie delivery!
The Southwest Facility Foundation is raising funds to support the construction of new recreation facilities in Swift Current. The Foundation will donate the funds to the City of Swift Current when they have an approved project such as a new aquatic leisure centre or indoor field house. The City of Swift Current continues to lobby all levels of government for project grants and funding.
