SWIFT CURRENT, SK – The Southwest Facility Foundation is excited to announce a commitment of $50,000 from Sask Valley Dental to help support the construction of new recreation facilities in Swift Current. This donation brings the Southwest Facility Foundation’s total campaign to over $1.25 million raised towards a goal of $8 million.
“We at Sask Valley Dental, are thrilled to announce our support for the Southwest Integrated Facility Foundation. We feel it is important to give back to the community that has supported us for the past decade. We are excited to see a new facility in Swift Current that will not only lead to the growth and development of our city, but also bring enjoyment to the many individuals and families who will utilize it.
As part of the healthcare field, we promote general health and wellness. We love to see all ages being active, and there is no better place than a new facility that will accommodate a variety of events and activities bringing the community together. We are proud to do our part in supporting the Southwest Facility Foundation in their outstanding effort and contribution to making our community great.” - Dr. Jackle & Dr. Voth, Sask Valley Dental
Along with fundraising, part of the Foundation’s mission is to share and educate the community about the need, importance, and benefits of new recreation facilities in Swift Current. New facilities provide much-needed space for residents of all ages to gather and participate in a variety of recreational activities, fostering a healthy and active community.
“We are very pleased that Dr. Jackle and Dr. Voth see the value in making this commitment to the SWFF. They were both very impressed by the Kiwanis Gala that was held back in April as Sask Valley Dental was a major sponsor of that event and saw first-hand how excited the guests were to be raising money for such an important cause in our community that is much needed. We cannot thank them enough for getting in touch with us again to discuss how they could offer their assistance in making a multi-year commitment to this project.” - Travis Cuthbert, SWFF Board Member
New facilities would service and benefit the entire Southwest community by improving the quality of life and boosting tourism, economic activity, and future growth for Southwest Saskatchewan. The City of Swift Current continues to leverage and lobby all levels of government for their assistance and support of future projects, and apply for any applicable funding and grants.
